From 2005 to 2015, Pastor Mark taught a number of discipleship-focused messages at Calvary Hollywood which formed the foundation of the DiscipleU methodology. The outlines for the key Bible studies of that period are available by email upon request at this time and more materials on this subject by various authors will be coming soon.

The core concept of DiscipleU is to approach the process of building disciples of Christ much the way we educate young men and women in the university setting: by teaching concepts at lower levels of complexity to undergraduate students and teaching the most challenging ones to doctoral program students. The benefit of having "100-level" subjects (i.e., "Why should I trust the Bible at all?" or "Are all People Sinners?") before "300-level" subjects ("How should I understand the Bible's teachings on God's Sovereignty and Man's Free Will?") would seem readily apparent, yet many churches still struggle to have an organized and layered approach to doctrinal instruction. The DiscipleU methodology is intended to fill this need.
